Office/HR Administrative Specialist
A dynamic and fast-paced office in Peachtree Corners is looking for an Office/HR Administrative Specialist to join our friendly and upbeat team. LSGF Management provides management services to 80 retail locations under the brands Great Clips,Smoothie King and Salty Dawg throughout the Southeast. If you have great people skills, strong office experience and a “can do” attitude this is the opportunity for you.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Greeting guests and answering the phone and directs callers to appropriate personnel, schedules appointments, signs for incoming packages, and assists clients and other visitors.
• Scheduling and coordinating the meeting rooms
• Setting up the meeting rooms in advance of meetings with technology, snacks, etc.
• Distributing mail and packages
• Opening and coding the Accounts Payable mail
• Managing the UPS, FedEx and USPS systems
• Completing online forms for licensing and census information
• Scanning and electronically filing the Accounting Department documents
• Maintaining common areas and meeting rooms
• Ordering stocking and maintaining office and kitchen supplies
• Inputs and updates information in databases and spreadsheetsfor management, HR and the marketing department
• Coordinates logistics for meetings, including room setup and catering.
• Operates and maintains office equipment, including printers, copiers, and fax machines.
• Works with maintenance staff and outside vendors to ensure office equipment is in good working order and office supplies are always on hand.
• Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
• Will assist with payroll functions: entering PTO, updating spreadsheets with payroll and global ID numbers.
• Enters benefits enrollments and terminations
• Creates monthly Cobra spreadsheets for processing
• Provide Administrative support for the accounting and marketing departments
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll management, human resource information system (HRIS), and similar computer applications.
• Must be able to work independently with little oversight from manager
Education and Experience:
• Associate’s degree in related field preferred
• 3-5 years related office and human resources experience required
Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
