Division/Department Information:
The Division of Administration & Economics houses the B.S. in Fashion Studies, Program the B.S. in Enterprise Regulation: Profit and Non-Profit, and the A.S. Program in Business Administration.
Responsibilities:
Accounting
The adjunct will cover financial accounting concepts that form the basis of external and internal reporting by business entities. They will explain how financial information is communicated to management, stockholders, creditors, and others interested in the status of the business enterprise. The adjunct will cover such topics as the basic accounting framework and concepts: reporting of income, financial position, and cash flows, the accounting process including accruals, and financial statement of elements.

Economics
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Economics adjunct to teach an introduction to the fundamentals of the economic system. The “macro-economic” approach to employment, prices and economic stability in the context of globalization. The Economics adjunct should be able to also cover the fundamental tools of microeconomics (individual decision-making, markets). The goal is to provide students with a fundamental understanding of economics thinking, enabling them to apply economic concepts to real-world scenarios.
Management & Marketing
The adjunct instructs students on business principles, marketing research, advertising and strategic management, preparing students for industry careers. The adjunct will introduce problems and processes of management. Emphasis is placed on the principles and practices of management and the functions of the executive.
Qualifications:
All applicants must hold a master’s degree; industry experience is needed.

In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the salary range for this position is $1,803 to $2,215.
