About the Position:
We are looking for an experienced Offset Press Operator who can jump in as needed to support our print production team. This is a part-time or on-call role, ideal for a seasoned press operator who values flexibility and knows how to keep a pressroom running clean and tight.
This is not a training position. We need someone who can be productive from the minute they walk in, with minimal ramp-up. If you’re an experienced offset press operator looking to stay active in print without the full-time grind, we’d love to have you on call.
Schedule: Variable / On-call. Primarily weekdays, between 6:00am–5:00pm
Pay Range: $30+/hour depending on experience
Daily Responsibilities
Operate and maintain offset presses:
Heidelberg Speedmaster 52-5 Color Press.
Ryobi 3302 2-Color Press or similar.
Set up and run jobs with tight registration, color matching, and consistency
Monitor print quality throughout the run — adjust ink, water, and feed as needed
Perform routine cleaning, plate changes, and basic press maintenance
Assist in keeping the pressroom clean, organized, and ready for the next job
Collaborate with production staff to meet tight deadlines and rush jobs
What we’re looking for
5+ years of experience operating small-format offset presses
Comfortable running short-to-medium run jobs in a fast-paced environment
Can read and interpret job tickets, color proofs, and paper specs
Reliable, detail-focused, and able to work independently
Mechanically inclined with a proactive maintenance mindset
Available for on-call or part-time coverage, including same-day needs
Pay & Schedule
$30+/hour based on experience and availability

On-call availability may include short notice based on workload
