Job Description

The purpose of this position is to originate first mortgage for real estate loans for in-house and secondary markets. Set up loans to be processed and underwritten. Assume certain administrative duties as assigned by the senior management team. Solicit residential first mortgages through contacts with realtors, builders and developers, as well as through leveraging of internal lines of business. Negotiate terms and conditions. Call on potential or existing customers as assigned to develop new business or retain existing business.

REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION:

• Must possess the ability to deal with members in a professional manner.
• Must be well organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Possess good communication skills, both written and oral.
• Demonstration of strong customer sales and service skills

• Must be able to use computer and any programs associated with the mortgage lending program.
• Must be able to meet with members and business associates outside of the office environment.
• Must have reliable transportation for outside the office calls.
• Must have 1-2 years experience in Mortgage sales and services.
