JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Under immediate supervision, install, configure, service, repair, maintain information technology in both a stand-alone and client-server environment, including MS server, Defense Message , other authorized information technology .
• Install, configure, service, repair, maintain hardware software for network , storage networking devices, servers.
• Integrate multiple information in a networked environment, evaluate resolve customer information problems, effect required hardware upgrades repair to maintain mission capability.
• Install configure wireless hubs, routers, switches, various transmission media, server hardware software, ensure the proper installation configuration of workstation hardware software for efficient operation on the network.
• Install, optimize troubleshoot Local Area Base Area Networks.
• Familiar with Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6), Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP), Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), Virtual Local Area Networks (VLANs), Virtual Private Networks (VPNs), Network Address Translation (NAT).

REQUIRED:

• High school Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
• Two to four (2-4) years of experience required.
• One of the following is required:
• MTA
• MCTS
• MCSA
• CompTIA A+
• CompTIA Network +
• CCNA.

CLEARANCE:

• Secret
