Ohmcomm, Inc is currently seeking a Project Manager with experience in managing the life cycle of multiple Low-Voltage System projects. Ohmcomm, Inc offers a full suite of technology services and support for industries and businesses such as property management, real estate development, manufacturing, medical offices, construction, food processing and hospitality. We are rapidly expanding and are looking for a candidate to assist with that growth.
Responsible for managing the complete life cycle of straightforward to moderately complex projects, including approval, planning, execution, and closeout to ensure planned results are achieved on time. Develops budgets, timelines, and ensures progress-to-plan, as well as tracking critical project achievements. Works with vendors and team to establish and achieve goals. Coordinates the activities of a cross-functional team including exempt and non-exempt employees. Works with moderate guidance in own area of knowledge.
Candidate’s expertise related to design assist, installation network integration of complete and related systems, including but not limited to:
Structured Cabling, Pathways & Cable Tray (voice/data, racks/frames, cabling/cable management & connections, etc.)
Voice & Data Communications Systems (dictation, intercom, VoIP/premise-based telephone systems, etc.)
Knowledge of Access Control is a must
Audio Visual Communications Systems
Distributed Communications & Monitoring Systems (overhead paging/audio, public address, sound masking, CATV, intercom, emergency call, GPS/wireless clock systems, time & attendance clock systems, antenna systems.
Electronic Safety & Security (access control & intrusion detection, infant security)
Electronic/Video Surveillance Systems
Electronic Detection & Alarm Systems
Electronic Monitoring & Control Systems
LAN/WAN & Wireless Systems (including IP systems integration)
Distributed Antenna Systems
Integration with Building Automation System (BAS), Fire Alarm and other network systems.
Serve as a Technology resource across the organization.
Job Duties would include, but not limited to:
Responsible for overseeing the efforts of all project activities and personnel
Manage multiple projects at differing stages of completion
Review all project documents, including drawings, specifications, contracts, scope of work, and construction schedule
Acquire a thorough understanding of project requirements and objectives
Facilitate internal kick-off meeting with all key participants
Create and manage the project plan and schedule
Coordinate with Resource/Service Manager to schedule personnel for all phases of project execution, including submittals, engineering, procurement, fabrication, quality
