Comagine Health is looking for a Development Manager to manage, coordinate, and support business development activities. We consult on public health initiatives, develop, and deliver healthcare delivery improvement projects, and support clinical care management programs. As we enter our next phase of growth, we are looking to bring on an additional business development professional.
Typical duties and responsibilities include supporting Development Director(s) and operational leads in the management and maintenance of the strategic business development plan, pursuing new business opportunities, managing the proposal development process, and providing sales and marketing support.

As a recognized Quality Improvement Organization (QIO), we support providers, plans, purchasers, and consumers, and offer services to state and federal agencies and others to help them better manage health care under the existing system and to assess, plan for and implement broader system transformation. JOB SUMMARY:
DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES
- Supports Development Director(s) in managing and maintaining a strategic business development agenda
- Gathers opportunity input and feedback from staff
- Conducts review and analysis of potential topics, funding streams, and opportunities, as needed
- Provides reports and updates to show alignment with organizational goals
- Supports operational leads in pursing business opportunities
- Helps to identify, evaluate, and screen new business opportunities
- Researches and analyzes products, services, markets, and customers
- Participates in and supports business planning and budgeting, as needed
- Facilitates partnerships and collaborations, as needed
- Supports concept and proposal development, as needed
- Manages proposal development
- Prospecting/environmental scanning for opportunities
- Assessment and summarization of opportunities
- Template/shell development
- Coordinates with operations staff to develop content
- Reviews and summarizes scientific literature
- Proposal timeline development and management
- Proposal team facilitation
- Proposal writing and editing
- Proposal review facilitation
- Proposal production, packaging, and submission
- Submits FOIA requests, as needed
- Internal tracking and management of proposal pipeline using BD CRM
- Coordination with finance, compliance (COI), information services and human resources
- Facilitates post-award activities, as needed
- Sales and Marketing Support
- Assists with conference exhibitor arrangements
- Participates at conferences and interacts with potential customers to represent company services
- Assists with the identification and development of new products and/or service offerings
- Develops sales and marketing collateral
Required Skills

- Project management: developing project plans, managing/coordinating projects, communicating changes and progress, completing projects on time and budget
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, public health, healthcare administration, non-profit management, or healthcare related field or master’s degree in business, public health, healthcare administration, non-profit management, or healthcare related field (Equivalent combination of education and/or work experience in related field may be substituted)
- 7 years’ experience in a related field
- Availability to travel as necessary
