Executive Chaplain Profile

A candidate who would be considered for the position of Executive Chaplain of Oklahoma Jail & Prison Ministry should be pre-qualified based upon criteria in four categories.

Special Qualifications

There are special characteristics or experiences that allow a candidate to have unique insight into Oklahoma Jail & Prison Ministry. These special qualifications would include:

• Ministry Experience to the incarcerated

• Non-Profit/Ministry Leadership Experience

• Background/Exposure to Correctional Services

• Ministry Experience

Professional Qualifications

The candidate should have a proven track record of organizational leadership, development and management with specific experience in the following areas:

• Christian Ministry/Service

• Ministry Leadership

• Public Speaking

• Organizational Vision Development and implementation

• Finance and Budget Management

• Personnel Oversight

• Team Building and Development

• Fundraising
