    Title: Okta Engineer

    Location: Remote

    Job Description:

    · An Okta Developer designs, implements, and maintains Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions, focusing on SSO, MFA, and user lifecycle management using the Okta platform. Key responsibilities include API integration with SaaS applications (e.g., Workday, JIRA), automating workflows via SCIM, and configuring SAML/OIDC federation.

    Core Responsibilities

    · Integration & Configuration: Configure and maintain Okta SSO, MFA, and directory services (Active Directory, LDAP).

    · API Development: Utilize Okta APIs and SDKs to automate user provisioning and lifecycle management.

    · Security & Compliance: Implement role-based access controls (RBAC) and security policies to secure user access.

    · Support & Troubleshooting: Resolve authentication and authorization issues, providing technical support to meet SLAs.

    · System Design: Design high-availability solutions, including load balancing and failover configurations.

    Required Skills and Qualifications

    · Okta Expertise: Deep knowledge of Okta Lifecycle Management, Universal Directory, and API utilization.

    · Protocols: Proficiency in SAML, OIDC, OAuth 2.0, LDAP, and RADIUS.

    · Technical Skills: Experience with scripting (Python, Bash), SQL, and REST APIs.

    · Background: Experience with SaaS application integration (e.g., Workday, GSuite, Jira).

    · Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

    · Certifications: Okta Certified Developer or Consultant preferred.
