Ole & Steen Lagkagehuset is seeking a true culinary professional to join our team of artisan bakers. Bakers at Ole & Steen produce artisan Danish breads, rolls, and laminated doughs as part of an enthusiastic and international team. This position reports directly to the Head of Bakery Production. Requirements for this role:
Experience with mixing, bench work, proofing, and baking bread as well as working with laminated dough for our breakfast pastry production.
Able to work overnight, weekends, some holidays.
Able to Lift 50+ pounds, stand and/or bend for extended periods of time to perform essential job functions.
Able to meet all safety and sanitation standards.
Able to work in the United States.
minimum 1 years of professional baking experience preferred. Experience with Scandinavian baking methods is a huge plus but not necessary!
