    Ole & Steen Lagkagehuset is seeking an enthusiastic & knowledgeable payroll & accounts specialist to join our leadership team in New York City. Accounts specialists at Ole & Steen provide critical financial and people support as part of a growing and international team. This position reports directly to the VP of NYC Operations.

    Responsibilities include: · Executing a timely, compliant and accurate payroll, taxes, employee files, and labor reporting· Collaborating with accounting department as point of contact for vendors, invoice inquiries, inventory, pricing, and production cost.· Support operations by administering systems and processes including timekeeping, office supply, phones, IT, logistics vendors, etc. · Support leadership team with accurate reporting and analytics.· Build positive and collaborative relationships with international accounting team in Denmark. The right candidate: · Detail oriented- consistent and accurate in both payroll and reporting.· Results-driven and independent- working to find new ways to improve our business.· Curious and enthusiastic about learning new skills, cultures, and concepts.· Strong sense of ownership and responsibility.· Comfortable with ambiguity. · Work well within an international team. Requirements for this role: · Experience with payroll or timekeeping systems. · Mastery of Microsoft office suite- excel, powerpoint, outlook, etc. · Excellent communication skills. Able to collaborate effectively.· Robust quantitative & business skills. · Able to work in the United States. · 3 years of relevant experience preferred. College/university degree is preferred.
