We currently have three bustling NYC stores and we are excited to bring our beautiful scents and fun experience to Boston this summer! Our unique experience is changing luxury fragrance retail, and we're looking for passionate and outgoing retail associates ('scent-tologists') to deliver a best-in-class guest experience through our special scent-creation journey. WHAT YOU'LL DO As an Olfactory NYC "scent-tologist," you will be responsible for engaging with customers, blending fragrances (Don't worry! We'll train you!), sales floor operations and being a brand ambassador at off-site events. Your duties will include (but are not limited to): - Welcoming guests into the space and encouraging them to explore and partake in the experience - Sharing the brand story and product knowledge - Guiding customers through the scent customization and blending process of the OlfactoryNYC fragrances - Supporting day-to-day sales floor operations including processing POS transactions accurately, packaging and wrapping guest orders, helping direct traffic flow, blending custom fragrances and more. - Fulfilling ecommerce orders - Embodying the brand's voice and vision in all communication to foster strong client relationships WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - Passion for customer service and hospitality - Excellent communication skills - Organized and possess a keen attention to detail - Proactive, creative, and self-motivated - Eager to learn new things - Experience with Social Media platforms preferred - Interest/ prior experience in fragrance and/or beauty preferred - Ability to work flexible shifts - including weekends and holidays COMPENSATION AND PERKS Total Expected pay: $25-$30 per hour - Base pay: $16-$18 per hour (commensurate with experience) - Customer tips: average of $80-$130 per day (*After an initial 10-15 day training/apprenticeship period, each Scent-ologist will be eligible to earn customer tips.) - Additional compensation: Monthly sales incentives, Bonuses for working Off-site Events (optional) Benefits (full-time employees only): - Medical
