SUMMER INTERN - ACCOUNTING

This 10-week summer internship is an opportunity to experience Olive Tree Holding's culture and atmosphere while taking on some of the responsibilities and functions of a Full-time Analyst for the summer period. The Accounting Intern will act as a generalist within the Accounting Department, work closely with internal and external teams assisting with corporate accounting and reporting, budgeting, forecasting, employee expense reporting and reimbursement, and other financial analysis.

In addition to their day-to-day responsibilities, the accounting intern will be given the opportunity to work with the entire summer analyst class on a project that benefits the organization as a whole. The accounting  intern will also be able to participate in all Olive Tree Holdings summer analyst programming events: including, but not limited to, mentor groups, intern outings, company events, educational bootcamps, and much more.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Working with corporate team members to prepare monthly management reporting
• Assisting with employee expense report administration, review, and reimbursement
• Preparation of bank reconciliations
• Support the team in preparing corporate budgets and periodic forecasting
• Other projects as assigned within the Accounting department

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Actively pursuing a degree in Accounting; Rising Junior/Senior
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
• Demonstrated track record of high achievement in demanding professional and academic settings
• Stellar organizational skills with an acute attention to detail and strong sense of urgency
• Ability to work autonomously, be proactive to identify issues and respond accordingly, strong at multi-tasking and work in a lean group
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate professionally across all levels of the organization
