JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for proper culinary preparation that comply with health and safety guidelines & are completed in a timely manner resulting in guest satisfaction.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Set up and break down each culinary station
- Follow recipes and prepare dishes accordingly
- Use the correct portions when cutting and serving
- Avoid food waste by observing food storage time and temperature standards
- Plate each dish according to chef’s standards
- Restock stations with food products as needed
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils
- Execute safe knife handling skills and safe use of all kitchen equipment
- Serve snacks or food items to customers seated at the bar.
- Keep informed of restaurant industry trends

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Experience as a line, prep, or restaurant cook
- Experience with various cooking methods and procedures
- Familiar with industry best practices and trends
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to remain standing for entire length of shift.
- Constant walking, bending, reaching and repetitive motions.
- Ability to lift stock up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Restaurant environment- noise level may be moderate to high during busy times.
SALARY: $10.50/HOUR
