- Security Certifications a plus-CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA PenTest+, GIAC Information Security Fundamentals (GISF), GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC), (ISC)² Associate, (ISC)² Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), ISACA Cybersecurity Fundamentals Certificate, (Security+, ISC2, ISACA, CompTIA)
- Ability to work in a fast paced team environment
Background:
- Around 4 years of Security/Desktop support/System Administration.
- Experience in systems such as Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender Endpoint and Cloud Apps, Microsoft Entra, and Google Administration.

Job Requirements
- Capable of working autonomously but know when to bring in the team to help out.
- Ability to comfortably communicate with both highly technical and non-technical people.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; capable of following and composing process and procedure documentation, capable of understanding complex network and system designs, training users in complex topics, making presentations to an internal audience, and interacting positively with upper management.
- Proficient in most aspects of system administration; for example, configuration of various forms of operating systems, log management, patch management, fundamentals of security, third-party software.
- Solid working knowledge of Google Administration such as the Investigation Tool and Big Query.
- Solid working knowledge of security fundamentals such as detection and response, risk management, disaster recovery, authentication, confidentiality, and encryption.
- Process driven with strong documentation skills
- Ability and motivation to learn new technologies quickly and with minimal support and guidance
- Proven experience as an IT Specialist with a focus on cybersecurity
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
