Job Description

As a Drafting Intern on our Water/Wastewater team, you will provide assistance to engineers and designers using AutoCAD Civil 3D software to create plans and perform design work. You will also contribute to project production sheets by adding dimension/layout plans and title/detail sheets. Typical projects you will work on include sanitary sewer piping, water and wastewater pump stations, wastewater treatment facilities, water piping, water supply wells, water storage tanks, and water treatment facilities.

We have one current internship opening and will consider candidates interested in being located out of our Lincoln, NE or Omaha, NE office location.

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to contribute and work well on a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Passion for public works projects.
• Pursuing an associate's degree in architectural drafting or a similar drafting program.
