Job Description

Olsson takes on anything from backyard flooding problems in a community to the complex challenges presented with watershed management, irrigation districts, and recreational facilities. As a Project Engineer on the Water Resources team, you will provide various engineering and project management duties related to evaluating, designing, and constructing water resource projects. You may assist with developing the project scope and schedule, project documentation, and reviewing shop drawings. Travel may be needed to job sites for observation in all types of terrain and weather conditions, as well as project sites in various stages of construction.

YOU BRING TO THE TEAM:

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to contribute and work well on a team
• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering
• Must be a Colorado-licensed professional engineer (or can obtain a Colorado PE license within 6 months)
• At least 7 years of related water resource engineering experience
• Experience in preparing and evaluating hydraulic and hydrologic models using SWMM, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, or other equivalent modeling programs
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Passion for detailed work

Typical salary range for this position is $92,000 to $121,000, and is commensurate with experience relative to the position.
