Job Description

Olsson offers clients a full spectrum of water and wastewater services, including planning, design, permitting, and construction phase services. As an Assistant Engineer for the Water/Wastewater team, you will provide project design utilizing CAD/modeling software, perform technical analysis, prepare construction documents, provide construction services, perform research, and write technical reports. You will work closely with other team members and engineers on projects related to wastewater collection and treatment along with water supply, storage, treatment, and distribution. Typical projects you will work on include sanitary sewer piping, wastewater pump stations, wastewater treatment facilities, water piping, water supply wells, water storage tanks, and water treatment facilities. You may travel to job sites for observation in all types of terrain and weather conditions, as well as project sites in various stages of construction. We are looking for a new graduate or experienced EI to join the team.

YOU BRING TO THE TEAM:

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to contribute and work well on a team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 0-3 years of experience, previous engineering consulting experience is helpful.
• Engineer Intern (EI) certificate.
• AutoCAD or other related software experience is required.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Posses excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Passion for public works projects.
