    Job Description

    As a Geotechnical Drilling Manager, you will be in a senior leadership role within a team where you will specialize in project management, hiring and management of staff, focus on leading project execution, winning repeat work, and mentoring. You would serve as the lead project manager, managing key client accounts for the team.

    In addition, Olsson is growing, and this is a new opportunity. As a manager you will recruit and build your team.  Initially, we are looking for a Geotechnical Drilling Manager that is willing to support the business by providing some Senior level drilling expertise and services as the team grows.

    Additional opportunities include:

    • Leading efforts to secure repeat client work by focusing on exceptional client service.
    • Leading efforts for the team in project management transitions.
    • Promoting efficiencies in producing quality work.
    • Mentoring staff within the team on project management best practices, using Olsson’s resources such as the Olsson’s project management statement of expectations, the Olsson’s project management modules, and/or other project support services resources.
    • Building and developing a successful drilling program for Olsson’s Colorado offices.

    • Ten years of experience in drilling and/or a construction related field.
    • General knowledge of hydraulic and mechanical repairs.
    • The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
    • Experience managing projects, staff, and assets.

    Typical range for this position is $81,000 to $112,000+ and is commensurate with experience relative to the position.
