    Job Description

    Olsson offers clients a full spectrum of water services, including planning, design, permitting, and construction phase services. As an Assistant Civil Engineer for the Water Resources team, you will provide project design utilizing CAD/modeling software, perform technical analysis, prepare construction documents, provide construction services, perform research, and write technical reports. You will work closely with other team members and engineers on projects related to hydrologic and hydraulic analysis for stormwater and flood control management, floodplain management, and scour and erosion control. Travel is required for this position.

    We have one current opening and will consider candidates interested in being located out of our Lincoln or Omaha office locations.

    YOU BRING TO THE TEAM:

    • Strong communication skills.
    • Ability to contribute and work well on a team.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
    • 0-3 years of experience, previous engineering consulting experience is helpful.
    • Engineer Intern (EI) certificate.
    • AutoCAD, Microstation, GIS/ArcMap or other related software experience required.
    • Strong attention to detail.
