POSITION TITLE: SALES ASSOCIATE
SUMMARY: Perform sales, customer service, and store operation duties
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Greet the customer promptly and politely as they enter the storefront
Listen to the customer and ask questions to assess their needs
Educate customers on product features and benefits
Offer great suggestions when appropriate on multiple pairs, apparel, and accessories
Deliver old-fashioned customer service that treats customers like family and promote Olympia Sports’ history and family-centric brand
Retrieve sneakers from the stock area and assist with fitting the sneaker on their feet
Measure and fit every customer properly
Assist the Store Manager in store maintenance and merchandising to create a clean & visually compelling environment
Maintain an orderly, well-stocked inventory area
Ensure completion of assigned tasks and responsibilities
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school, GED or equivalent (Preferred)
At least 1 year of prior retail sales experience preferred but not required
Effective Written/Verbal Communication
Basic computer/technical skills
Ability to Commute

SCHEDULE:
Day shift
Holidays
Monday to Friday
Weekend availability
JOB TYPES: FULL-TIME, PART-TIME
Pay: $9.00 - $12.00 per hour based on experience.
*All customers are required to wear masks instore. If an employee misses a day due to a Covid-19 illness, paid time off will be offered and issued. If a hire has not been vaccinated, paid time off and a $50 bonus will be offered to employee.
