Let's inspire healthier lives, together. * Job Description The Associate Project Analyst within the Program Management Office (PMO), is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual looking to gain experience in analytics, project management, and overall business strategy. As an integral member of the Regional PMO, the qualified candidate will support in the development and maintenance of project and portfolio management (PPM) and strategic planning tools (i. e. communication tools, dashboards, project database, reporting process, central project document repository, KPI tracking mechanisms, etc.) to enable continuous portfolio prioritization and review, and project activation, execution, and reporting. They will continue to evolve the process, data maturity, and communication of crucial resource and budget management activities across Olympus Surgical Technologies America (OSTA). They will also coordinate and manage the communication, execution, and reporting of the OSTA Regional Project Approval Board (rPAB).This individual will work closely with the Global Portfolio Management team, Global PMO, and Global and Regional Finance departments to gather the right inputs to perform the analytics. They will perform analyses and provide support on a broad range of projects of strategic importance to Olympus. A key part of this role will involve supporting the evolution and maintenance of a PPM system and the ability to clearly and concisely present key insights drawn from the system's data to key stakeholders. Job Duties * Help to drive migration of project data, but also work cross functionally to help FMs set up their functional work/guidances/templates for Nucleus. Applicable to Migration and Maintenance. * Mature resource management activities through close collaboration with cross-functional leadership to establish indirect resource capacity needs. * Partner with Project Managers (PM) to ensure alignment with established tools and templates for accurate and timely information Monthly reporting. * Drive continuous improvement by gathering PM and Executive feedback and proposing/implementing solutions for enhanced project and resource management and executive reporting. * Prepare, review, and provide feedback on project reports, dashboards, and scorecards. * Track project KPIs and collaborate with PMs to understand drivers and implications of project KPIs through subsequent changes. * Analyze project progress compared to baselines and create compelling presentations to communicate findings, projections, and recommendations to PMs, PMO leadership, and Executive Management for proactive decision making. * Reviewing / flagging monthly reports with deviations from currently approved baselines, digging into why with PMs, flagging potential impacts on next fiscal year budgeting etc. * Work with PMO to develop and maintain PAB agendas, coordinate meetings, create and distribute meeting minutes, and delegate and track actions. * Capture, maintain, and present project change history using PPM tool. Job Requirements REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, or Business Management is required. * 0-2 years' experience in analytics, corporate strategy, or related field. Medical device experience preferred. * Ability to travel up to 5% of the time. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Excellent attention to detail to support monitoring data integrity at the detail and the summary level * Expert skill with MS Office Suite. Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills with good active listening skills * Experience in developing presentations and communicating data analysis and results to assist decision-making * Confidence and ability to cater communications to various levels of the organization. * Ability to multi task and balance priorities diligently with minimal direction. * Demonstrates strong organizational and planning skills; strong interpersonal and relationship building skills with ability to work in a team environment. * Capable of large scale event coordination and facilitation. * Knowledge of Business Intelligence Software and MS Project Online is a plus. *We realize work isn't just a job to you.*It's a big part of your life, but not the only part.
