Summary of Role
The Manager, Financial Systems leads the team responsible for the administration of Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) applications to support internal and external financial reporting requirements. This team partners with different business functions and continually looks for opportunities to improve processes that enhance user experience and presentation of data within the financial applications. Additionally, this position will lead various strategic projects in support of enterprise-wide initiatives, including the current reconfiguration of our EPM (OneStream) and will have frequent interaction with the Company’s Finance leadership, including executive management.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead ongoing development, maintenance, and administration of the various IT applications.
- Ensure effective internal controls associated with the system are maintained, including SOX compliance by documenting systems and security changes.
- Understand and interpret business requirements and effectively implement solutions. Lead meetings and provide strategic vision to any technical concerns.
- Design and provide end user trainings and support global users with systems related questions.
- Support internal and external audits while ensuring data integrity and timeliness.
- Build relationship with functional teams within the organization and provide support, answer system related questions and resolve concerns and issues.
- Understanding of GL, Financial reporting, AP / AR needs to have supported multiple applications.
- Looking for Technical Leadership / management experience leading projects at a manager level
- Provide technical direction and set & drive a technical roadmap in an enterprise environment.
- Cloud experience
Qualifications
- 8+ years’ experience in accounting or finance
- BA in Accounting or Finance required, MBA a plus
- 5+ years’ EPM administration experience required
- A visionary with ability to utilize experience and systems knowledge to streamline and improve processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good organizational skills
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Highly driven / self-starter
- Prior experience in a PE backed portfolio company preferred.
