COMPANY INFORMATION:

Omega Concrete has been manufacturing architectural precast panels for commercial buildings at our current location for 45 years.   We are looking for motivated individual with an interest in construction or building to join our team.

JOB DESCRIPTION: 

We currently have an opening for a shop coordinator in our Kansas City, KS location.  This position will be compensated at $18.00-$22.00/hr.

JOB DUTIES: 

• Schedules repairs for yard trailers and equipment
• Minor equipment service and repairs
• Maintains service records for equipment
• Maintains all hand tools and equipment
• Coordinates trailer loading
• Dispatches trucks delivering panels
• Picks up or accepts deliveries of steel and miscellaneous supplies
• Sorts loose steel for projects
• Loads start up material and rigging for projects
• Maintains shop area

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• General knowledge of equipment and construction
• Basic mechanical abilities
• Knowledge of or ability to learn how to operate a forklift and skid loader
• Must have a valid CDL license or the ability to obtain one
• Knowledge of or the ability to learn basic trucking regulations (weights, width, length, hours and zones)
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Basic math skills
• Ability to read tape measure
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must have a good work ethic
