Recovery Specialist at Treatment House We are a growing company which focuses on providing excellent client care and customer service. Your position would consist of providing supervision, care and mentoring to individuals who are recovering from addictions and mental illness. The ideal candidate for this position would be a responsible person who has an eye for detail and is interested in working in the field of mental health and addiction. We need reliable individuals who excel at critical thinking.
POSITIONS AVAILABLE
1 FULL TIME: shifts between 8am - 10pm, weekdays and/or weekends; schedule to be discussed with team supervisor PRN: availability to pick up dayshifts anytime between 8am - 10pm

ARE YOU A COLLEGE STUDENT?
All undergrad students who are interested in taking the next step to graduate school would be able to earn a letter of recommendation from a Psychiatrist (MD), Psychologist (PhD) and a licensed therapist (LMSW, LCSW) to help you on your journey into graduate school. This job would provide you with excellent experience in working on an interdisciplinary team of mental health and addiction professionals. This is an ideal opportunity for students of: nursing, social work, psychology, sociology, pre-med, counseling, healthcare administration, physical therapy, and many other helping professions.

Qualifications
Must have a high school diploma or GED
Must have a current and valid Texas driver’s license
No DUI/DWI in the past 2 years
No moving violations in the past 1 year
Must have good organizational skills and attention to detail
Must have strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize
Must have good oral and written communication skills
Must have the ability to work with a diverse group of people: different race/ethnicity (minimal prejudice/bias), different religions (keep all personal beliefs at home), varied age groups, LGBTQ friendly
Ability to coordinate and delegate work assignments and tasks
Must be ready to collaborate with a diverse team on a daily basis
Must have critical thinking skills and the ability to recognize risk and plan for safety
Must be observant and diligent
Perform routine grounds and bed checks throughout your shift
Working Conditions
Communicate professionally with management, medical doctors, therapists, coworkers, clients and families via:

Use office equipment such as but not limited to: computers (Mac and PC, laptop and desktop), tablets, printers, scanners.
Must be familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel as well as google sheets and google docs.
Must use proper grammar and spelling for all written communications.
Must learn to use or have prior experience with using an electronic medical record.
Physical Requirements
Sit and stand for extended periods of time
Must be able to:
Swim
Lift up to 50lbs
Hike for 1 to 2 hours
Monitor clients that are participating in physical activities
Required to perform light housekeeping, cooking and cleaning activities daily
Must have the ability to operate a large motor vehicle
