Job Summary
Omni Fight Club is looking for energetic, passionate and talented, LEAD COACHES for its KIRKLAND location. The lead coach is responsible for providing an intentional, fun, challenging fitness experience for Omni Fight Club members and guests. It is also the duty of the lead coach to build community among the members and work closely with the sales team to increase membership and insure member retention.
Essential Functions
Coach in a group setting that allows you to engage with members while maintaining a safe workout experience
Provide a clean hygienic workout space
Sanitize after each class and reset the workout floor (ie. wipe bags, mats, and ring)
Set up / break-down the workout floor for the following day if you’re the last class of the evening
Train and develop staff
Check all equipment is operating and functional
Reconcile accurate class attendance
Wear Omni Fight Club approved attire
General Requirements
Contribute to the social media presence across platforms
Participation in special events
Membership enrollment, retail sales, and marketing
Promote the company’s safety goals and actively work towards ensuring a safe working environment
Provide open and positive communication with colleagues
Attend department meetings and maintain confidentiality
Conduct oneself at all times in a manner of professionalism that aligns with the values, philosophies, and standards of Omni Fight Club policies
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
At least one year of group training/group exercise experience highly desired
Personal Training certification preferred
Must be at least 18 years old
Bachelor’s in exercise science preferred
Current CPR/AED required
Working Conditions
The working conditions are those of a fitness club
Must enjoy high paced, high energy environment
Physical Requirements: the Lead Coach should be able to move 100 lb
The lead coach is expected to work early mornings (5:00 am) and/or late evenings (9:15 pm)
