The successful candidate will be entrusted with a variety of essential tasks including digging pits, potholing, backfilling, compacting, operating a jackhammer, and setting boxes, among others, to support the progress of our construction projects. Responsibilities: • Operate a quickie saw and 90lb jackhammer safely and efficiently • Perform hand digging and spotting for backhoe operators • Operate Backhoe • Pothole using a mud vac and backfilling tasks • Compact soil and materials using powder puffer & shovel • Set boxes, vaults, and other structures according to project specifications • Set up and take down traffic control equipment to ensure safety at the job site • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety guidelines and protocols • Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to a high standard • Uphold and implement our core values of Teamwork, Respect, Quality, Communication, Positivity, and Integrity Qualifications: • Class-A Commercial Drivers License • High school diploma or equivalent • Previous experience in construction or related field is preferred, but not required • Ability to operate various tools and equipment safely and effectively • Familiarity with construction site safety procedures and regulations • Excellent communication and teamwork skills • Strong work ethic and commitment to quality • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 90 lbs) and perform physically demanding tasks Compensation: $19 - $25 hourly
