    Job Description

    HIRING A CONTRACT Product Marketing CLIENT LOCATION: LA/Remote WORK SCHEDULE: 40 Hours Weekly Pay Rate $40.00/hour  BENEFITS: ACA Compliant Medical Insurance POSITION SUMMARY You will play a key role in digital product development. You will focus on transforming the high-level vision of the product into detailed user stories and actionable requirements. In conjunction with multiple teams, including product marketing and engineering, you will work to deliver cutting-edge web and mobile applications that support our innovative and industry-leading products.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Assists in managing complex software development projects in a fast-paced, constantly changing agile environment.
    • Helps build, review, and prioritize the project backlog and determines the development schedule, with input from the product manager, other product owners, and other business stakeholders
    • Works with developers and other product owners to continuously improve team performance
    • Gathers requirements, writes effective user stories, and defines acceptance criteria for all items in the backlog prior to product grooming and sprint planning meetings
    • Communicates requirements to UI/UX, design, and development teams
    • Assists in sprint planning and feature releases
    • Participates in product roadmap development
    • Researches new technologies, meets with vendors, and tracks the competitive online environment
    • Assist with full process testing, QA, and UAT for websites and back-end systems; troubleshoot customer issues
    • Administer multiple content management systems, focusing on quality assurance, content population, and basic website updates (updating content, replacing images, banner activation, holiday shipping blocks, replacing PDFs)
    • Regular audit of consumer-facing and donor-facing websites to check for correct feature functionality, broken links or images, expired content, incorrect messaging, etc.
    • Website performance monitoring
    • Research new technologies and track the competitive online environment

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 2+ years experience in project or product management, web design and development, UX/UI design, or business analysis

    SKILLS & ABILITIES

    • Experience with self-hosted WordPress applications or other CMS’
    • Ability to work independently – this role requires a high level of ownership
    • Strong project management skills
    • Intuitive grasp of software and how it is used to solve business and user problems
    • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills
    • Outstanding communication and presentation skills
    • Team player with sound relationship-building skills
    • Basic familiarity with code and data formats (JS, HTML/CSS, JSON, Python, PHP), including web services and APIs
    • Basic Google Analytics skills
    • PMI, PMP, CPM or comparable certification a plus
    • Experience with Domo, Tableau, or Salesforce a plus
    • Knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign, Invision, or Sketch a plus
