Low Country Quisine is looking for reliable, skilled Event Cooks to support our catering team at off-site events on an as-needed basis. This position is perfect for experienced cooks who enjoy working in different environments and thrive in fast-paced event settings.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, cook, and serve food on-site at events according to LCQ standards
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Assist with event setup, kitchen organization, and breakdown
Maintain a clean and professional appearance while representing Low Country Quisine
Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with a strong attention to detail
Requirements:
At least 2 years of experience cooking in a catering or event-based setting
Valid Food Handler’s Certification
Able to stand for long periods and lift a minimum of 60 pounds
Must work well under pressure and in changing environments
Reliable transportation to travel to off-site events across the DFW Metroplex
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
