HomeSmiles Portland is hiring dependable on-call field technicians to help with exterior home maintenance projects like window cleaning, gutter cleaning, pressure washing, dryer vent cleaning, and roof moss removal. This is ideal for someone who wants occasional, physical work and enjoys being outside rather than behind a desk.

This role is perfect if you want occasional work when you’re available — no fixed weekly schedule required. When jobs are scheduled that require support, we reach out. If you’re available and ready to work, you accept the job. If not, you can pass. We value responsiveness and reliability when you do commit.

Many technicians use this as a great side job alongside school, gig work, or other employment.

This role can grow into more consistent hours as the company expands, but it is also well-suited for someone comfortable working job-to-job.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Assist with window cleaning, gutter cleaning, and pressure washing • Work with professional exterior cleaning equipment • Set up and break down equipment at job sites • Help maintain a clean, safe workspace • Interact professionally with homeowners

The work is physical and outdoors, and may involve ladders and roof access, but no construction or repair experience is required.
