Location: Albuquerque, NM Type: Full-Time Schedule: • Thursday: 5:30 PM – 8:30 AM • Friday: 5:30 PM – 8:30 AM • Saturday & Sunday: On-call coverage through the weekend until Monday at 8:30 AM Pay: $20/Hour

Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable On-Call Scheduler to support our hospice and home care teams during evenings, nights, and weekends. This role serves as a central point of communication between patients, families, caregivers, and clinical staff, ensuring urgent needs are addressed and appropriate staff are scheduled in a timely manner.
The ideal candidate is organized, calm under pressure, and able to communicate clearly while coordinating care outside of normal business hours.
Key Responsibilities
Answer and manage incoming calls from patients, families, and staff during on-call hours.
Coordinate and schedule caregivers, nurses, or other staff for urgent or scheduled visits.
Relay messages promptly and accurately to the appropriate team members.
Maintain clear documentation of calls, requests, and scheduling changes.
Support communication between clinical staff, caregivers, and management.
Assist with schedule adjustments and ensure coverage for patient care needs.
Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and compassionate communication at all times.
Qualifications
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to remain calm and professional in urgent or time-sensitive situations.
Basic computer skills and ability to document calls and scheduling updates.
Reliable internet and phone access during on-call hours.
Preferred:
Previous scheduling, healthcare coordination, or administrative experience.
Experience in hospice, home health, or caregiving services.
