    Job Summary

    We are seeking a skilled and caring Acupuncturist to join the team at our thriving clinic. We are passionate about providing the best possible care for our clients and believe integrative healthcare is an integral part of an overall wellness plan. Your responsibilities will include evaluating injuries, discussing health concerns, administering treatment, designing treatment plans that include all of our services and providing wellness advice. You should have a deep knowledge of the neuromusculoskeletal system, motor point or trigger point techniques and the ability to create customized treatment plans. We are looking for providers that are in network with optum and united healthcare.

    Responsibilities

    Consult with patients to obtain their medical history and the reason for their visit

    Perform patient assessments and administer appropriate treatment from both the allopathic and east asian medicine paradigm

    Recommend additional wellness treatments, such as tuina, cupping, gua sha, moxibustion and herbal prescription when necessary

    Create comprehensive wellness plans that focus on each individual’s specific needs

    Proficient with charting using Electronic Health Records

    Promote a healthy lifestyle with advice on sleep, exercise, and diet

    Maintain detailed records of patient information

    Refer to specialists or other professionals as needed

    Ability to perform community style acupuncture/ see 4 patients per hours

    in network or willing to be in network with united healthcare and optum

    Hours: Wednesdays 2pm to 7 pm , Sundays 10 to 4 pm

    Qualifications

    Doctorate of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine or Licensed Acupuncturist

    Proven experience as an Acupuncturist

    State license and valid malpractice insurance.

    Strong communication and active listening skills.

    Comprehensive knowledge of the neuromusculoskeletal system

    Understanding of supplemental therapies

    Experience developing multi modality treatment plans

    Thrives in a team setting
