We’re looking for a highly motivated and proactive On-site Community Manager to oversee the daily operations in our family park, Murrieta Palms Community. The Palms is a medium-sized, family-owned property management with locations in both California and Arizona. You will be responsible for ensuring your property is well-maintained and enhancing the overall tenant experience. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a collaborative environment and takes pride in their work.
Responsibilities
Manage all day-to-day property operations including billing, tenant application processing, utility reading, maintenance, and task delegation.
Handle tenants move-ins and move-outs, including inspections.
Enforce payment deadlines and issue late notices.
Consistently and promptly enforce the park rules and regulations, while conducting regular property inspections.
Ensure compliance with all local and state housing regulations.
Delegate tasks and work to ensure completion of projects.
Clean and maintain the common areas.
Manage vendors and schedule vendors on a as needed basis.
Prioritize situations and emergencies regarding the property and address them promptly and effectively.
Hold weekly meetings with the home office to report on progress, discuss upcoming projects, and align goals.
Maintain clear and consistent communication with residents, staff, and management.
Must open and lock up the common areas on 7-days a week, including holidays.
About You
Proven experience in property management is required.
Available for on-call after hour emergencies.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Ability to hire, train and manage our maintenance personnel.
Self-motivated leader with strong management, phone and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook and property management software.
Professionally and courteously manage inquiries, feedback, complaints or concerns and follow up accordingly.
Must have excellent time management skills.
Open to learning our business policies. We consider our residents as our customers.
Must have reliable transportation.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, may require weekends and holidays.
