Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Spanish speaking On-Site Recruiter - 1st Shift \- to join our team with a focus on light industrial recruitment. This role is responsible for sourcing, screening, placing, and managing candidates for warehouse, manufacturing, assembly, and other light industrial positions. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong interpersonal skills, and understands the unique demands of industrial staffing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment & Sourcing:
- Develop and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract qualified light industrial candidates.
- Use job boards, social media, community resources, and referrals to source candidates.
- Maintain a pipeline of skilled candidates for future client needs.
- Screening & Placement:
- Conduct phone and in-person interviews to assess skills, experience, and fit for various roles.
- Match candidates to appropriate job openings based on skill set and client requirements.
- Ensure all candidates meet hiring criteria, including background checks, drug screenings, and safety training.
- Client Relations:
- Partner with clients to understand their staffing needs, work environments, and expectations.
- Provide timely and effective staffing solutions to ensure client satisfaction.
- Conduct site visits and maintain regular communication with clients to ensure placement success.
- Onboarding & Compliance:
- Manage the onboarding process including new hire paperwork, orientation, and timekeeping procedures.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
- Monitor employee performance and address any concerns with corrective actions or coaching.
- Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate and client records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Track placement data, attendance, and turnover metrics for reporting purposes.
- Assist with payroll processing and timesheet collection as needed.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Minimum 1–3 years of staffing or recruiting experience, preferably in the light industrial sector.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of employment regulations and hiring best practices.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Education:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
Working Conditions:
- Office-based role with frequent visits to client sites and industrial workplaces.
- May involve occasional early morning or evening hours to meet client or candidate needs.
