Role Overview:
Zomee is seeking an experienced and passionate On-Staff IBCLC (Outreach & Education) to lead our efforts in educating the professionals who influence a parent’s decision when choosing a breast pump. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will serve as Zomee’s primary clinical ambassador and play a key role in building and strengthening our reputation within the healthcare community.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop referral relationships with the key professional audiences who influence a parent’s breast pump decision, including lactation consultants, OB/GYNs, midwives, doulas, and other maternal health providers.
Develop and execute strategies that enable healthcare professionals to confidently recommend Zomee products to their patients.
Lead national education initiatives for lactation consultants (LCs), including training, resources, and ongoing engagement programs.
Design and implement educational programs and materials to support new product launches and drive adoption within the clinical community.
Build and manage scalable outreach programs across provider networks, strengthening Zomee’s presence within OB/GYN offices and broader maternal care settings.
Establish and grow community-facing initiatives, including support groups for mothers and prenatal education programs within clinical offices.
Partner closely with marketing to develop content and resources that position Zomee as a trusted clinical and educational voice.
Support and enhance the Mom Line by developing helpful, clinically informed resources for mothers.
Lead the development and rollout of the LC Platform in collaboration with marketing and IT teams.
Provide clinical input into product development, leveraging hands-on experience and professional networks for testing and feedback.
Represent Zomee at national conferences, trade shows, and professional events.
Serve as the clinical liaison between Zomee and healthcare providers including OB/GYNs, pediatricians, and hospital lactation teams.
Cultivate relationships with hospitals, birth centers, and outpatient practices to increase provider familiarity and trust in Zomee products.
Develop pump instruction resources, flange fitting guides, and clinical education materials appropriate for diverse patient populations.
Host lunch-and-learns for clinical staff covering product updates, evidence-based pumping protocols, and patient education tools.
Create continuing education series tailored to the specific needs of midwives, LCS, and Ob's.
Host lactation masterclasses and intimate Q&A sessions at local venues, positioning Zomee as the premium choice for parents.
Qualifications:
IBCLC certification required.
3+ years of experience working with breastfeeding mothers in a clinical, hospital, or private practice setting.
Strong understanding of the maternal health landscape, including OB/GYN offices, lactation consultants, and postpartum support networks.
Proven ability to educate and engage professional audiences, whether through training, presentations, or program development.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and relationships across a wide range of stakeholders.
Self-starter with a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Comfortable with outreach, networking, and representing a brand in professional settings.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and sales.
Willingness to travel for conferences, events, and in-person meetings as needed.
