  • Responsibilities

    Job Purpose:

    To operate efficiently and friendly at the OTT desk.

    To increase sales through public relations of conventioneers.

    Utilize the appropriate supplies needed to sell our product and attractions.

    Qualifications/Education/Skills:

    High School Diploma or equivalent.

    Previous customer service, cash handling, and sales experience required.

    Proficient in Word, Excel, and Windows.

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    Ability to multi-task.

    Professional dress and demeanor.

    Knowledgeable and/or trainable in Rezometry.

    Extensive knowledge of tourism and the New Orleans area.

    Essential Functions:

    Maintaining the happiness of the guests.

    Meeting with convention guests regarding our tours.

    Supply desks with tickets and equipment.

    Handling and resolving guest complaints

    Completing additional tasks and projects as requested.

    Must be flexible and available on weekends

    Physical Requirements:

    Ability to stand for extended periods of time, averaging 8 hours per workday.

    Ability to lift 40 pounds.

    Ability to bend with frequency throughout workday.

    Adequate hearing and eyesight to fulfill functions of position.

    General computer equipment.

    General office equipment.

    Work Environment:

    Frequent travel between locations, must maintain a valid Driver’s License.
