On Time Talent Solutions is seeking a Health Informatics Engineer who will be responsible for expanding and optimizing our data warehouse and building data integrations, developing data best practices and governance, performing clinical and administrative reporting and data visualization, as well as optimizing data flow and collection for cross functional teams.
HEALTHCARE INFORMATICS / DATA ENGINEER RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design, develop, and unit test stored procedures, scripts and ETL systems for new products features
Responsible for producing exemplary quality & scalable code and delivering features on-time
Design for operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions
Follow development cycle procedures to maintain code base and build artifacts
Create and maintain technical documentation
HEALTHCARE INFORMATICS / DATA ENGINEER QUALIFICATIONS:
B.S. or Masters in Biomedical Informatics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related discipline
Development experience with MSSQL Server and SSIS preferred
Experience in troubleshooting the performance of SQL code
At least 2 years of experience working with healthcare data and data processing, specifically dental, medical, pharmacy eligibility and claims data
Experience with Agile development, Scrum, and Kanban (preferred but not required)
Familiarity with data encryption, XML and Linux (preferred but not required)
Experience with SSRS (preferred but not required)
