EHR / EMR DEVELOPER

On Time Talent Solutions is looking for a software developer who can build APIs that connect EPIC to mobile Apps. The goal is to begin with EPIC and then move to Cerner and multiple EHRs.

EHR / EMR DEVELOPER RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage resolutions related to all application incidents and service requests

• Partner with development team, vendors and users to ensure maximum integration between systems

• Program custom templates to support the needs of the medical practice including extracting data from databases to satisfy standard ad hoc requests; develop databases, spreadsheets, and other programs to manipulate data

• Create and maintain programming standards for the development and modification of interfaces

• Ensure appropriate testing and maintenance of entire interface is up to regulatory standards

EHR / EMR DEVELOPER QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, programming, information systems or equivalent experience

• 3 years specializing in software programming, analysis, design, and/or systems development

• 3 years specializing with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and interface development Healthcare experience – HL7, X12 EDI, or ETL tool

• Experience with any Interface Engine (OPENLink, Cloverleaf, etc.)

• Knowledge of major programming languages and operating systems

• Knowledge of SQL (MS SQL Server preferred)
