Job Title: Power BI Data Analyst (1099 Contractor)
Location: On-site – Burbank, CA
Employment Type: 1099 Contractor
Duration: 3–8 months
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM PST
Compensation: $40-50 hourly

About the Role

Abramson Labor Group is seeking a Power BI Expert to join our team on a contract basis to support our business intelligence and data reporting needs. This is a temporary in-person position based at our Burbank, CA office, with a project duration of approximately 3 to 8 months.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Power BI and a passion for turning complex data into actionable insights. You will be responsible for building a variety of interactive reports and dashboards, extracting and consolidating data from multiple sources, and translating business requirements into analytical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain visually compelling and interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Gather, clean, and transform data from various internal and external sources.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and business opportunities.
• Present clear, concise, and actionable insights to stakeholders across departments.
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand reporting needs and deliver customized solutions.
• Troubleshoot and optimize data models, reports, and performance issues as needed.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven expertise in Microsoft Power BI with a strong portfolio of past dashboards and reports.
• Solid understanding of data analysis , data modeling , and DAX functions.
• Experience in data gathering , integration, and transformation from diverse sources (e.g., Excel, SQL, APIs).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and high attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication skills for effective presentation of findings and collaboration with team members.

Additional Information

• This is a 1099 contractor role and is not eligible for benefits.
• Must be able to work in-person at our Burbank office during the specified hours.
• Project estimated to run between 3 to 8 months , depending on business needs.
