    GENERAL PURPOSE:

    The onboarding coordinator will play a critical role in welcoming and integrating new employees into our organization. The Onboarding Coordinator will work closely with various departments to ensure a smooth and efficient onboarding process for new hires. This position requires excellent communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    New Employee Orientation :

    • Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding orientation program for new employees, including introductions to company policies, culture, and mission.

    Paperwork and Documentation :

    • Manage all necessary paperwork, documentation, and compliance requirements for new hires, including I-9 forms, W-4s, and any other necessary documents.

    Preparing Workspaces :

    • Ensure that new employees have all the necessary equipment, supplies, and workspace arrangements ready on their first day.

    Training and Development :

    • Collaborate with department heads to schedule and coordinate training sessions for new employees as needed.

    Mentorship and Support :

    • Act as a point of contact for new employees to address questions and concerns during their onboarding period, offering guidance and support as required.

    IT Setup :

    • Coordinate with the IT department to set up user accounts, email addresses, and access to company systems for new hires.

    Benefits and Policies :

    • Assist new employees in understanding company benefits, policies, and procedures.

    Feedback and Improvement :

    • Collect feedback from new hires to continually improve the onboarding process and make necessary adjustments.

    Compliance :

    • Ensure that all onboarding activities are compliant with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.

    • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all onboarding activities, documentation, and training completion.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in HR, business, or a related field.
    • Prior experience in HR, onboarding, or a similar coordination role is preferred.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
    • Familiarity with HR software and tools is a plus.
    • Knowledge of HR policies and employment regulations.
    • Detail-oriented and able to maintain confidentiality.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
