Victory Hematology and Oncology has a part time registered chemotherapy nurse positions available for a Hematology and Oncology practice in Sherman Oaks, California. At least three years of recent experience in an outpatient chemotherapy infusion setting is required at a hematology and oncology practice. Job Description:

• Administer Chemotherapy, hydration and other medications under the direct supervision of a physician

*Mix chemotherapy (optional, compounding pharmacy technician on site)

• Perform assessments on patients within appropriate time frames.

• Participate in activities to plan, measure assess and improve the quality of patient care.

• Demonstrate knowledge of ambulatory infusion pump use and maintenance Access port-a-catheters and PICC lines

• Document patient care and unit activities in a timely, accurate, and concise manner.

• Demonstrate knowledge of and apply safety principles.

• Be Comfortable with EMR (Electronic Medical Records)

• Be passionate, empathy with patients; Be reliable and motivated with great customer service skills; works well as a team.

Job Requirements:

• Chemotherapy Certification.

• Current BLS.

• California RN License.
