Carolina Home Services Group, Inc. dba One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning is one of the largest and fastest growing HVAC companies in the Grand Strand area with their headquarters in Myrtle Beach, SC. We are looking for an Accounting Coordinator that is interested in growing with us.

This position is responsible for performing a variety of administrative functions related primarily to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, deposits and reconciliations. Responsibilities include proper and timely input of data, processing vendor invoices, customer payments and credit cards, balancing GL accounts, preparing spreadsheets, analyzing reports and providing backup support for Human Resources and Payroll.Required Skills:High school diploma or GEDAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferredExcellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office suite of productsAbility to adapt and learn other softwareBasic knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Ability to use judgment to analyze facts and determine necessary actions in relation to accountingHave superior organizational skills and the ability to set priorities, work under pressure and meet deadlinesGood verbal and written communication skillsAble and willing to perform a variety of tasksJob RequirementsThe ideal candidate will meet the following:Basic understanding of the technical aspects of account analyses and financial statementsStrong attention to detailAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong customer service orientationKnowledge and ability to use typical office equipment (PC, calculator, fax machine, etc.)Serves as a back-up for various areas within the Shared Service Department.Works on special projects as assigned.Prepares and analyzes Fixed Assets reconciliation on quarterly basis.Works with the accounting team to ensure accuracy of the month end close and validity of the amounts.Maintains local vendor files and acts as point of contact for communication regarding discrepancies and/or questions.Job Type: Full-time
