    Job Description

    THE COMPANY

    Founded in 2010, we are a vertically integrated real estate firm that specializes in the acquisition, development and management of transit-oriented workforce housing in the Northeast.     THE POSITION

    We are looking for an INVESTOR RELATIONS ASSOCIATE (IRA) (based in CT or NY) who will oversee all facets of our investor relations efforts to include direct communication with existing and potential investors. The IRA will interface between the investment community and OneWall Partners, providing investors information on our business strategies, performance, and investment opportunities. The IRA will be responsible for the development of communication platforms, presentation material and activities directed to engage the investment community.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Expand the company's investor base, with a focus on HNWI accredited investors, family offices, RIAs and direct institutional investors (endowments/foundations, pensions, insurance, etc.).  

    • Continuously research/evaluate new prospects, to include ongoing exploration of domestic and foreign capital investment opportunities.

    • Develop and implement strategies to increase repeat investing and referrals from existing HNWI investor base.

    • Produce presentation materials, design placement strategies and disseminate company information to cultivate relationships and lead relations with current and prospective investors.

    • Leverage network of investors and contacts to obtain near-term capital commitments.

    • Coordinate calls & meetings with prospects as well as conference, travel and other investor events.

    • Define and monitor marketing KPIs (e.g. calls/emails, conversion rates, repeat investments, average checks) and track investment performance.

    • Partner with the CIO on fundraising priorities and goals; Collaborate with internal cross-functional team members to develop and manage a highly effective capital raising campaign.

    • Administer and manage customer relationship management (CRM) database and investor portal.

      

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a (well-regarded) four-year college or university required and one to five years related experience and/or training in investment banking/sales & trading or private equity (preferably with real estate or credit/fixed income exposure) required.  Business/Finance, Marketing, Economics, Quantitative or Liberal Arts Degrees and/or MBA preferred.  Additional 6+ months of investor relations experience preferred.  Certifications are not required.  However, securities licenses, CFA and other similar designations demonstrate attractive qualifications.  Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word required.

    TRAVEL

    Up to 25-50% travel expected for the position, primarily inter-office, local, and domestic day trips with some overnight and international travel possible.
