We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our team in Wilmington, OH! The HRG manages the day-to-day operations of the Human Resource office and ensures the company attracts, hires and retains the best employees.

Responsibilities

Supports the warehouse manager in recruiting needs

Creates job postings and manage recruiting workflow in the Applicant Tracking System

Completes the on-boarding process of new employees from the application and related paperwork to the new hire orientation

Takes appropriate disciplinary action against employees who violate rules and regulations and addressing employee grievances

Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.

Assist the HR Manager in the coordination and execution of employee engagement activities

Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.

Requirements & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree, preferred in Human Resources or Business Administration

Strong self-motivation, a team player and a quick learner.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

Understands the general concept of HR function or HR-related work process.

Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

Must be passionate about working for HR.
