YOU WILL:
Account Management Functions:
- New Account Review In tandem with the Client team, analyze prospective opportunities and proactively communicate with team members on all aspects of the prospect; including but not limited to a narrative of the opportunity, proposed Carrier, Assistance Company, Claims TPA, Premium TPA, benefit structure, policy forms, expense structure, assistance with marketing materials and desired price points. Assist with new account implementation when required.
- Renewal Account Process Work on the renewal process on assigned Accounts with the Producer and underwriting/underwriting service team. Be prepared to request or advise of any desired changes, market conditions and expectations of Producer/Account and manage through to successful completion.
- Problem Solving & Decision Making As the Account Manager answer questions, provide direction and make decisions on issues that arise on a day-to-day basis related to assigned accounts, applying analytical and problem-solving skills, common sense, creativity, and the ability to persuade.
- Presentation & Persuasion Review underwriting presentation to ensure it meets the needs of the Producer. If necessary, work with the underwriting team in the presentation to the carrier for approval or justification. Present final terms to the Producer
- Documentation of Terms Provide your Producers, with timely and accurate information on any Account assignments. Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams to ensure deadlines and expectations are met.
- Other Assignments Other duties as may be assigned.
Client Relationship Management
- Responsible for the management of all assigned Producer relationships. Have a good working knowledge of all accounts under assigned Producers and work in coordination with other internal resources to best serve Producer and the accounts they represent. Perform Producer visits if needed and as required.
- Provides exemplary customer service to Producers through timely responses to inquiries, have good knowledge of the Producers market landscape and provide creative solutions. Receive feedback from other assigned MMG teams pertinent to Producers and provide regular updates to Producers on projects and issues that directly affect each Producer.
- Able to navigate the political landscape of MMGs Products and carrier partners and the accounts that fall under assigned Producers.
- Compliance Working knowledge of the compliance landscape and be able to articulate to the Producer any compliance regulations and their impact.
- Contracts / Licensing: Establishing and ensuring the Producer has appropriate contracts and licenses in place.
REQUIREMENTS
- Comprehensive communication skills, both oral and in writing
- Basic to Intermediate skills in Excel and overall proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with flexibility to re-adjust as needed
- Ability to work with multiple parties to meet client deadlines and advocate for your clients with both internal and external partners
- Strong organizational and project management skills
