Global Technology Start-up headquartered in New York City seeks a Junior Corporate Associate with 1-2 years of experience. This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the fastest growing companies in the legal technology sector and make an impact at an early-stage start-up. Legal Team comprises of the brightest minds from Top-tier law schools with Big Law experience. They are looking to hire one additional attorney to add to their team by Feb 2022!

You will have a diverse array of responsibilities, including but not limited to building out their automated contract review product offerings. You will receive on-the-job training and mentorship from senior team members who have worked at AmLaw 200 New York law firms and other technology startups and who have taught at elite American universities. Their clients include industry-leading companies, Fortune 500 companies and large law firms.

This is truly a unique opportunity with significant upward mobility potential to eventually transition into executive management while still at their early stages. After this year, they expect that window to be no longer available.

Open to Fully Remote or Hybrid/Onsite at their San Francisco or New York City offices.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with the software development team, the sales team and other internal stakeholders
• Facilitate customer-side change management processes
• Serve as the main point of contact with the customer during implementation of initial and follow-on use cases of company's products
• Leverage data, analyze customer behavior and communicate regularly with customers to understand customer needs
• Develop AI product configuration specifications, production timetables, and time-integrated plans for product introduction

QUALIFICATIONS:

• JD, LLB or equivalent degree, with a strong academic record or a track record of success in corporate law
• 1-2 year of corporate law and or technology contracts experience
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention-to-detail
• Excited about building a team and culture from the ground up and taking pride in your work
• Interest in the intersection of law and technology
• Experience with PowerPoint, Excel and/or project management software preferred; coding or software development experience or interest considered an asset, but NOT required.
• Licensed in ANY U.S. State
