    OneOC, a nonprofit organization, seeks an enterprising and dynamic leader to provide strategic oversight of our Organizational Development Services (ODS). Under the general direction of the CEO, the Director of Organizational Development Services for Nonprofits is responsible for business development for the ODS department. The position is both strategic and operational with outcomes designed to help local nonprofits become more effective and efficient while guiding them successfully through organizational issues. This role is primarily external facing. This position is an active member of OneOC’s leadership team and partners with the CEO on overall strategies of the ODS department, providing leadership and operational oversight to the ODS team, and ultimately ensuring the delivery of the established business goals and strategies which support the organization’s mission.

    The Director of Organizational Development Services for Nonprofits is an accomplished team leader who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with a proven track record in business development, strategic leadership, successful experience in designing and delivering effective organizational development services, strong community outreach, knowledgeable of the nonprofit sector and has an entrepreneurial spirit.

    SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY

    Develops and implements the 2020 Roadmap Strategic Plan as assigned.

    Provides strategic and operational oversight to the ODS team and in conjunction with the CEO, the overall organization’s strategic initiatives.

    Generates new earned revenue and sponsorships on an annual basis with focus on organizational development service solutions for nonprofits. Meets assigned financial goals.

    Leads prospect/pipeline business development strategies for areas of responsibility.

    Oversees learning platforms and ODS offerings.

    Leads board volunteer tasks forces and committees as assigned.

    Manages Service Enterprise/Points of Light ODS business partnerships.

    Serves as a consultant and custom training trainer for identified ODS client accounts.

    Supervisory Responsibilities:

    Provides leadership without favoritism and serves as a positive role model for ODS team.

    Completes supervisory duties timely and effectively, including working with human resources to follow interviewing and hiring procedures, job training, appraising, counseling and disciplinary processes.

    Reduces employer risk through compliance with HR practices and policies, especially non-harassment and non-discrimination.

    Schedules employees and approves time and attendance matters.

    SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

    Minimum of 5 years’ organizational development-related/learning and development experience in a successful leadership position.

    Successful track record of generating earned revenue and delivering results.

    Ability to inspire and motivate individuals and teams resulting in a strong desire and passion that allows the organization to meet its mission.

    Demonstrated results of connecting with local leaders, groups and networks.

    Successful experience in designing and delivering effective training and consulting services.

    Proven operational and financial results across multiple service/business lines.

    Possesses strong written and oral communications skills.

    Highly organized with proven ability to prioritize responsibilities, handle multiple deadlines and be proactive and productive in a fast-paced work environment.

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office, LMS and CRM (e.g., Salesforce).

    Flexible and adaptable style; a leader who can positively impact both strategic and tactical ODS initiatives.

    Demonstrated ability to work independently on self-directed projects and to collaborate in a team environment to drive business development from strategy through execution.

    Possesses excellent project management skills with an affinity for consistently producing high-quality work.

    High energy and passion for OneOC’s mission with a flexible team-oriented approach to working with others with an intellectual curiosity and professional drive.
