    EncoreOC Professionals

    OneOC is proud to offer the EncoreOC Professionals Program throughout Orange County! As an EncoreOC Professional, you will connect with a local nonprofit in meaningful & purposeful service to help address unmet community needs. During the 8-week program, you will fulfill critical project-based assignments that will bolster the infrastructure of the nonprofit at which you are serving.

    Nonprofit Background: Southern California Hospice Foundation was established in 2002 to promote awareness of palliative care options for terminally ill children and adults. Their mission is to deliver a breadth of resources to caregivers, families, and patients confronting the final stages of life. For more information log onto https://www.socalhospicefoundation.org/

    · Term of Volunteer Service: 6-8 week project-based assignment between DEC 2019 – FEB 2020

    · Hours of Volunteer Service: up to 15 hours per week depending on project scope (Remote)

    Position: EncoreOC Professionals are highly-skilled volunteers who typically possess an advanced educational and professional background. Experienced applicants of all ages are encouraged to apply and are welcome to send a resume and cover letter.

    Major Responsibilities and Related Tasks:

    Creative Design: The Southern California Hospice Foundation is seeking an EncoreOC Professional to assist with brochure creation based on a newly created color palette and style guide. Responsibilities will include the creation of 6 collateral pieces.

    Skills Desired:

    · Creative Marketing & Brand Management experience

    · Translate program information into marketing copy

    · Develop, design, and producing graphic art and visual communication

    · Proficiency in programs such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign

    · Knowledge of typography, color and production

    Eligibility Requirements: To be eligible to participate as an EncoreOC Professional, the candidate must meet all eligibility requirements, including but not limited to:
