EncoreOC Professionals Program

OneOC is proud to offer the EncoreOC Professionals Program throughout Orange County! As an EncoreOC Professional, you will connect with a local nonprofit in meaningful & purposeful service to help address unmet community needs. During the 8-week program, you will fulfill critical project-based assignments that will bolster the infrastructure of the nonprofit at which you are serving.

Nonprofit Background: Dominguez-Roth Foundation is a new integrative medicine nonprofit with an official launch date of September 15, 2019. Their mission is to lead the way to finding a balance in the treatment and prevention of serious illnesses by way of a partnership between integrative and conventional medicine. They have spent the last year developing their foundation’s program and activities, including a logo and basic website.

Term of Volunteer Service: 8-weeks project-based assignment between August through October 2019

Hours of Volunteer Service: 8-15 hours per week to be finalized with selected candidate (Virtual and Onsite)

Wage: N/A This is a volunteer opportunity.

Position: EncoreOC Professionals are highly-skilled volunteers who typically possess an advanced educational and professional background. Experienced applicants of all ages are encouraged to apply and are welcome to send a resume and cover letter.

Major Responsibilities and Related Tasks:

Dominguez-Roth Foundation is seeking an EncoreOC Professional Content Writer to:

Create and write content for the website, marketing pieces, branding, and public relations campaigns

Create an assortment of completed content pieces that can be utilized for multiple purposes

Develop various program materials

Skills Desired:

Ability to write extensive content reflecting client essence, mission, and purpose in a concise way

Creative Marketing & Brand Management experience

Translate marketing objectives into clear creative strategies

Produce marketing/outreach materials (copy, content & design)

Storytelling with an emphasis on sales, marketing and PR

Further development of visual communication and brand standards

Prior experience in an ad agency preferred
