OVERVIEW We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to work on a new product line with the option of a full-time position after 3-months. The right candidate for this role will showcase strong communication, problem solving, teamwork and leadership skills.
WHAT YOU’LL BE WORKING ON: We are developing a new product that will launch our business into the blockchain space! You’ll be working remotely on a new web application, joining our core team as we continue to build and grow in these early stages. Our tech stack is NodeJS/React and all of our infrastructure is in AWS.
ABOUT THE JOB: ● Design, develop and maintain existing and new features in the product’s ecosystem. ● Own the implementation, infrastructure and data pipelines supported end-to-end in our services, while working closely with tech and project leads. ● Work closely with the team to understand and overcome challenges. ● Provide technical and architectural solutions in a transparent and open environment. ● Guide decisions through code reviews and discussions following best practices. ● Maintain code quality, organization, and testing.
QUALIFICATIONS ● 5+ years proven ability building and maintaining software applications. ● 5+ years demonstrated programming experience with NodeJS ● 3-5 years experience working with React ● Proficient all-around understanding and experience with different databases (SQL, NoSQL, Redis/Memcached) ● Strong understanding of architecting, maintaining and developing cloud technologies within AWS. ● Excellent understanding of GIT, bonus if maintaining an active repo. ● Experience working in or leading small to mid-sized teams. ● Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative/technical field (e.g. Computer Science, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering) OR equivalent experience.
